Division 2
Ashvale Victoria - 1
Eastwood Parkmount ‘B’ - 3
Ashvale Victoria have been struggling this season, but they thought that their luck could change and they could be in for a good day as they took the lead 1-0 inside of the first 10 minutes. But Eastwood Parkmount ‘B’ were ready for the battle. They fought hard to get back into it, and that they did. They ended up going into the break with the scores level at 1-1, as Adam Van Den Brink scored his first and levelled the playing field. Eastwood Parkmount came out the brightest in the second half as they took the lead for the first time in the game before scoring their third and winning the game 3-1. It was hattrick for the brilliant Adam Van Den Brink, who helped earn his team their first win in Division 2 this season. This completed a great weekend for Eastwood Parkmount as their other team picked up the best win of the weekend as they won 15-3 in the Presidents League Cup, a good weekend for the club.
Division 3
Rannoch Colts - 5
Carradale - 3
A great game for the neutral this one, as the hosts Rannoch Colts, run out winners 5-3 in this contest. It is always important to get a win under your belt in the league and Rannoch Colts have now done this. Carradale were unlucky, but it is early in the season and scoring 3 goals is a good effort and something they can take forward with them.
Presidents League Cup Section 1
South Lochaber - 1
Erskine - 2
An important victory for Erskine away from home, but a good battle with South Lochaber. The 2-1 score line is close, but the 3 points will be very important for Erskine this season in the Presidents League Cup Section 1.
1st - Eaglesham - (1) - 3
2nd - Erskine - (1) - 3
3rd - South Lochaber - (1) - 0
Presidents League Cup Section 2
Third Lanark - 4
FC Baillieston - 4
An 8 goal thriller at Third Lanark on Saturday meant that both teams picked up a point and Third Lanark remain top of the Presidents League Cup Section 2. They have not lost in this competition this season and now on 4 points. This was the first game for FC Baillieston this season in the Presidents League Cup, and they will be very happy with picking up a point from a game away from home. Both teams will be happy with the fact they scored 4 goals, but they will know they must try and concede less goals to pick up some more valuable wins. This game was exciting, this must not be forgotten a good 4 all draw.
1st - Third Lanark - (2) - 4
2nd - FC Baillieston - (1) - 1
3rd - Carradale - (1) - 0
Presidents League Cup Section 4
St Thomas - 3
Boswell - 3
Another good match produced in the Presidents League Cup, a 6 goal game ends 3-3, for the two teams towards the tail of Section 4. Important points for both teams, but they would have wanted the wins.

2nd - Calderglen - (1) - 3
3rd - Eastwood Parkmount ‘B’ - (2) - 3
4th - Boswell - (2) - 2

Presidents League Cup Section 6
Busby - 0
East Kilbride Y.M. - 6
A cracking victory for East Kilbride YM, as they travelled to Busby and picked up a 6-0 win. They are showing no signs of slowing down this year as they continue to pick up very good wins. Kilbride have finished Section 6 in first place in the Presidents League Cup. They have had a brilliant start to the year and they will hope to continue this throughout the year and into the League matches. They are top of the league due to goal difference so the fact that they piled in the goals and did not stop for 90 minutes proves why they are now the front runners.
Newton Vale - 3
John Street - 2
Newton Vale were great again as they beat John Street 3-2 and ended up second in Section 6 of the Presidents League Cup. They only thing separating Newton Vale and East Kilbride Y.M. is goal difference. This could be down to the emphatic win for East Kilbride on Saturday. They did the job they had, and they scored 3 times at home to beat John Street and they will take this momentum onto the midweek matches.
1st - East Kilbride Y.M. - (3) - 7
2nd - Newton Vale - (3) - 7
3rd - John Street - (3) - 1
4th - Busby - (3) - 1
Presidents League Cup Section 7
Eastwood Parkmount ‘A’ - 15
North Kelvin Sports - 3
What a result this is. To confirm their is no typo here. Eastwood Parkmount ‘A’ won their game 15-3 against North Kelvin Sports. With the game at 1-1 to start with, it looked as though we were in for a contest, but then the floodgates opened and Eastwood Parkmount ‘A’ picked up this weekend's biggest victory. Many goals were scored and the scorers were Ross McDonald (4), Connor Fitzpatrick (4), Danny O’Brein (3), Adam Merrigan (2) and Kyle Fitzpatrick (2). An excellent victory for Eastwood Parkmount.

Presidents League Cup Section 8
Cambria - 4
Westerlands ‘A’ - 0
Cambria continue in winning fashion as they beat a good Westerlands ‘A’ side that have been clinical themselves in recent weeks. They won 4-0 and sent themselves to the top of the Presidents League Cup Section 8 on goal difference. A very important victory in the scheme of things.
Westerlands G.G. - 1
Dynamo East Kilbride - 2
Important victory also for Dynamo East Kilbride, a close game saw them edge out 2-1 winners against Westerlands G.G. They are now second in the group, but a good fight was put up by Westerlands G.G., but they do finish bottom of the league.
1st - Cambria - (3) - 6
2nd - Dynamo East Kilbride - (3) - 6
3rd - Westerlands ‘A’ - (3) - 6
4th - Westerlands G.G. - (3) - 0
Tuesday 29th August 2017
Division 1
Westerlands ‘A’ - 1
Eastwood Parkmount ‘A’ - 3
The brilliant few days of football continues for Eastwood Parkmount ‘A’, the scorelines shows a bigger gap then their was. Eastwood Parkmount have said that they have had two goal of the season contenders in this game, which is the difference between a point and three points. When you are in form, and things are going right, it is hard to put a foot wrong. They are coming off their 15-3 victory and they have come out of the blocks at a blistering pace this season.
Last weekend, Connor Fitzpatrick (4) and Kyle Fitzpatrick (2), scored 6 goals between them, but neither of them were the Fitzpatrick on the score sheet on Tuesday night. This time is was the turn of Darren Fitzpatrick, he scored a stunner. As if 4 goals was not enough for Ross McDonald, he scored 2 more on Tuesday night, making his tally in the last 4 days, 6 goals, a very impressive record, that will take some beating this season in the Greater Glasgow League.
Presidents League Cup Section 5
Newshot - 1
Ashvale Victoria - 1
An important point for Ashvale Victoria, who struggled on Saturday in the league, but picked up a valuable point in the Presidents League Cup Section 5. They went away to Newshot, the side that are top of the table and have been very strong this season, with some important victories. Newshot remain top of the table on 4 points, but this is a good result for Ashvale Victoria.
1st - Newshot - (2) - 4
2nd - Bellaire - (1) - 3
3rd - Ashvale Victoria - (2) - 1
4th - Jordanhill - (1) - 0
Wednesday 30th August 2017
Division 1
Cambria - 1
Newton Vale - 1
A fair result tonight in Division 1 as Cambria and Newton Vale cancel each other out, as they drew 1-1. McKenzie scored the Cambria goal. As there are more and more matches in division 1 being played, a good start is vital and the level playing field tonight is a good result that both teams will be happy with.
Eaglesham - 4
Dynamo East Kilbride - 0
Eaglesham did the required damage in division 1, as they put 4 past Dynamo East Kilbride who have had a strong start to the season themselves. Eaglesham will be delighted that they have got off to winning ways as well as keeping a clean sheet. They will hope to keep this up, especially at home, and Dynamo East Kilbride will be looking to bounce back to winning ways quickly.

Division 2
Crookston Castle - 2
Westerlands G.G. - 1
A great victory from a great match for Crookston Castle in division 2. They took the game to Westerlands G.G. and it was a close game, with just a goal in it, but Crookston do enough to earn an important 3 points.
East Kilbride Y.M. - 3
Third Lanark - 4
A brilliant game again, as 7 goals are scored and these two teams were not separated by much, just one goal. Third Lanark won the line share of possession and chances in the first half, but a talking to at half time, made East Kilbride Y.M. come out battling, and that they did. East Kilbride YM goal scorers are Scott Campbell, William Hastings and Mark O’Donnell, but they couldn’t jump that final hurdle, and Third Lanark won the game 4-3 in the end. This is an important victory for Third Lanark as they get a good victory in league action and will look to continue this. The goals for Third Lanark came from one man, Alan Semple, who scored all 4. Semple has been brilliant at the start of this season, and this is not his first man of the match performance, an honour of which he was rightly rewarded. With 2 wins under the belts of Third Lanark they are top of the table on 6 points.
Third Lanark said after the game ‘They (East Kilbride YM) beat us twice last year and I’d say they’ll be up competing for the title at the end of the season’. Lanark went to say ‘It was a great game. East Kilbride YM are a top side and it took character to grind out the result’
FC Baillieston - 1
John Street - 3
John Street earn an impressive 3-1 victory over FC Baillieston in the league and they have won this one away from home. It is early in the season and 3 points are huge, but on to the next game for FC Baillieston, they will be ready to go again, that is for sure.

Division 3
Busby - 2
Rannoch Colts - 2
A stalemate between Busby and Rannoch Colts in division 3. A match that has been said that it could have gone either way ends in a fair result and a point for either side. This was Rannoch Colts second game in the league meaning they have 4 points not and currently sit top of the table.

Presidents League Cup Section 3
Rannoch - 0
Westcliffe - 4
Westcliffe beat Rannoch convincingly as they put 4 past them, but they will be happier with the fact that they did not concede any goals and kept an important clean sheet. The goal scorers were Burnsy who scored twice and Mutter, who has had a brilliant start to this season, and then substitute Youngy scored the fourth and final goal and put the very important win to bed for Westcliffe.
1st - Westcliffe - (1) - 6
2nd - St. Patrick’s FP - (2) - 3
3rd - Helensburgh - (1) - 3
4th - Rannoch - (1) - 0
5th - Colquhoun United - (2) - 0
Presidents League Cup Section 4
Calderglen - 6
St Thomas - 4
It is never a dull game when there is 10 goals scored. This one is no exception. The home side Calderglen won this one 6-4 and what a great game in Section 4 this was. Caldeglen have said that they made it very hard for themselves, but they did eventually win this one. A hat trick from Barbour and two goals from Drummond would have been enough, but a goal from Freeburn put the icing on the Calderglen cake and they won this one. This match has meant that Section 4 is shifted around, and that Calderglen go to top of the table, with 6 points.
Eastwood Parkmount ‘B’ - 1
Boswell - 5
A tough night for Eastwood Parkmount after 3 very good performances, as they lost to Boswell in Section 4. On the other hand, a very important win for Boswell who now find themselves 2nd placed on 5 points and pushing Calderglen for that top spot.
1st - Calderglen - (2) - 6
2nd - Boswell - (3) - 5
3rd - Crookston Castle - (2) - 4
4th - Eastwood Parkmount ‘B’ - (3) - 3
5th - St Thomas - (4) - 1
Presidents League Cup Section 5
Bellaire - 3
Jordanhill - 5
Jordanhill win a feisty game at Bellaire in the Presidents League Cup. They needed this win and now draw level on points with Bellaire as Jordanhill go on to face Ashvale Victoria in the last round of the group. The goal scorers for Jordanhill were Toby Cole (2), Martin Lavery (2) and Michael Warnes scored the other. Jordanhill have said that the pick of the bunch was a free kick from Martin Lavery. After he scored his second, Martin Lavery couldn't believe his luck after Jordanhill were awarded a last minute penalty and he stepped up to take it and try to complete his hat trick. Unfortunately he missed the penalty and the hat trick was incomplete, but I am sure Martin Lavery valued the victory more than the glory. Bellaire will know that the 3 goals and saving a penalty will be important as valuable goal difference. In a group with such few games, this plays a major factor. With two teams on 3 points and one on 4 points, this sets up a very good finish to Section 5 of the Presidents League Cup.
1st - Newshot - (2) - 4
2nd - Jordanhill - (2) - 3
3rd - Bellaire - (2) - 3
3rd - Ashvale Victoria - (2) - 1
