Adil Nabi: The future is bright
Adil Nabi, born in Aston, Birmingham, is an energetic, technically gifted player, and nobody can dispute that. He always gives his whole tank, and looks like he has a lot of time on the ball. Nabi will break into the first team very soon, and should he given a run of games, he will impress and take the opportunity with both hands.
A very bright prospect Adil Nabi, who ran the game in the reserves match on Wednesday, is a talent, and is just waiting to become a big name. During his teens, Adil Nabi teamed up with Saido Berahino in the West Bromwich Albion youth team, and earned his call ups to play for England at different age groups.
Adil Nabi played for England under 16's and under 17's during his teens, scoring 3 goals in his 9 games for the older age group. For the West Bromwich Albion under 23's, Adil Nabi played 74 games scoring 26 goals, and played a range of positions.
Aston born, Nabi, did get given the chance to go and play in the Indian Super League as he played 8 times, scoring 3 goals for the Delhi Dynamos.
A key strength to Adil Nabi's game is the fact he can play in so many different positions. Nabi can play in midfield, up front and between the two as an attacking midfielder. He has also played on both wings. Rumour has it, that Adil Nabi was all set to move to Port Vale, but once they sacked their manager the deal fell through. Personally, for me that is a blessing as we get to keep Nabi on board.
Adil, has two younger brothers, Samir Nabi, who has signed for Carlisle United and Rahis Nabi, who is currently going through the ranks at Burnley, showing Adil Nabi comes from a family full of talent.
Peterborough United has always been a club that turns players from non league and gives them a chance and let's them be themselves and showcase themselves, and I would love for Nabi to be the next to be given that opportunity.
