Ricky Miller number 9
For the last three years, Ricky Miller has been playing his football at Dover Athletic, in the National League and he was prolific in front of goal. Last season, Miller scored 40 goals from 41 league games and 45 goals in all compitiions. In the National League for Dover, Miller played 96 league games, and scored 65 goals, and 72 in all competitions.
Miller is prone to getting a lot of press, sadly not all of it positive, but he has been given a major chance by Peterborough United and one he is looking to grab with two hands and run with. The bad press that he had received was not always just, as Miller's ban for biting, was reduced by the FA once all of the facts were acknowledged. He made his full debut for the Posh when he started against MK Dons in a 2-0 win, playing the highest level that he has.
Miller, the local man, also played Stamford in the 2006-2007 season as well in 2009-2010 and 2011-2013, before scoring a goal against Stamford in pre season, a thunderbolt to earn his new club a victory. Having played for many other local clubs, including Bourne Town, Spalding United, St Ives Town, Corby Town, Cambridge City, he has already made a name for himself.
