Jack Marriott: Player of the month

August's Player of the Month, Jack Marriott has been prolific infront of goal for the Posh fire them to the top of the table in the early weeks of the season. The Posh are second now, but Jack Marriott has been excellent.

In his first four games for Posh, Jack Marriott scored 6 goals, and was the deserving winner of the Player of the Month award. Marriott has pace to burn and this has caused other teams a lot of problems, and Marriott immediately looked as if he had been playing League 1 for years, not an easy thing to accomplish.

There is a buzz in the air at the moment at the ABAX Stadium, a one that has not been about for a few years now, and Marriott is one of the causes for this.

Before signing for the Posh, Marriott played for Luton Town. Marriott scored 22 league goals for Luton Town, in League 2, from 79 games. Some interesting ways to look at the stats, Marriott has scored 6 league goals this season, just 2 goals less than last season. In the 2015-2016 season, Jack Marriott won Luton Town's Young Player of the Season as well as the club's Player of the Season.

Jack Marriott has an extremely bright future with the Posh, and the electric striker will just gain more and more support from a great Posh fans. Darragh MacAnthony and Grant McCann, who have a proven eye for talent have picked a really talented player and given him the chance to flourish.
