2017 WWE No Mercy Predictions

The No Mercy 2017 is going to be a momentous one in the WWE, as the card is unbelievably good, and there is an excitement in the air. I have predicted the results of the event, taking place on Sunday night, in the RAW exclusive pay per view. 

The question on everyone's lips, is who is, have we found the man that can beat the Beast Incarnate. Braun Strowman may potentially be the man to do just that. Having watched the Go Home episode of Monday Night RAW, I couldn't agree more with what Kurt Angle, when he said that the card for No Mercy is great, with two WrestleMania worthy matches. With the two huge matches on the card, they have potential to be classics, but what I don't, and nobody would like to see, is a disappointing finish. With the NFL also on this Sunday, WWE have put on a card to compete with them. It will be a massive event and one I am excited for. Let me know what your predictions are, and if you agree or not. •Cruiserweight Championship: Neville (C) va. Enzo Amore A big fan of both of these men, Enzo Amore has been on a big push and is brilliant on the microphone. He may go further, but I can't see him defeating the King of the Cruiserweights on Sunday at No Mercy. Neville has to much in the tank and will walk out with his Championship in tact. Prediction: Neville retains 

•Singles Match Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt The demon vs. The demon, a match that'll be brilliant at WWE No Mercy. When Bray Wyatt arrived on the scene as the charismatic leader of the Wyatt Family, we were in awe, and the Bray Wyatt character was new, was fresh, was interesting. Fast forward to today, he seems to be doing a bit stale. Don't get me wrong, I am still a big fan of Bray Wyatt and he is a great wrestler with a lot to offer, but I think Balor will win this one. After this match, it would be good to see the fued put to bed and for Bray Wyatt to be put into work with Sanity in NXT, and to bring them up to the main roster. At this point, it is not clear if working with Sanity or against Sanity would be the best for Bray Wyatt, but time will be the one to tell us that. Prediction: Finn Balor wins. •RAW Tag Team Championship: Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro & Sheamus Oh how great it is...to have my two favourite current wrestlers, let alone two favourite members of the shield, Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins. The tag team have created a buzz around the division and it is great to see them compete. They face Sheamus and the great Cesaro at No Mercy, and must have the upper hand going into the contest. I cannot see Ambrose & Rollins losing, so that is my prediction. Ambrose and Rollins will be dominating this division for as long as they decide they want too. It is a bold statement, but should the WWE stick with Ambrose & Rollins as a tag team, then they have the chance to become a great tag team and one of the best that the WWE has had. Prediction: Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins •RAW Women's Championship: Alexa Bliss (C) vs. Nia Jax vs. Emma vs. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley As great as it would be too see Sasha Banks win the championship again and go on a long run as a heel, I don't feel this is going to happen. For Sasha Banks, to really become the boss and having a long and dominant run. Emma could get a big push early on and become champion to elevate her character, but I cannot see any of this happening. The wildcards are Bayley, the nice fan favourite and Nia Jax, the monster that could clear them all out within seconds, but, I think Alexa Bliss will find a way to win this one. Alexa Bliss will worm her way out of this one and walk out RAW Women’s Champion. Prediction: Alexa Bliss retains. 

•Intercontinental Championship: The Miz (C) vs. Jason Jordan It is great to see that Jason Jordan is getting more exposure up the card, as he has been a brilliant talent for years, and continues to be. Over the last year, The Miz has come into his own and has been one of the WWE's best heels. He will do anything to win, and what worries me about this contest is that, the Moztourage will be present, and may have an impact on the ending. My prediction is that The Miz will come away as Intercontinetal Champion, with the help of his Miztourage at ringside, setting up a bigger match in weeks to come as this feud will continue after No Mercy. Prediction: The Miz retains by help from the Miztourage 

•Singles Match Roman Reigns vs. John Cena This match is huge. It could go either way, a very difficult result to pick, but I have a long term as well as short term prediction. This is a very personal feud after what has been said and done by both men. The prediction for this one includes No Mercy 2017, but then goes past that. My prediction, both short term and long term is that, Roman Reigns wins by cheating, and robs John Cena of the match. After the match, John Cena will go away from the WWE for a couple of months and return at the Royal Rumble pay per view and set up a massive passing of the torch at WrestleMania, and we will see Reigns be the man to retire John Cena or to send him off to Hollywood for good! I don't think Reigns will win clear, or that he will do something to gain some mega heat. Prediction: Roman Reigns •WWE Universal Championship Brock Lesnar (C) vs. Braun Strowman This could have been a WrestleMania match, but we are lucky enough to have it on the smaller pay per view, making it a much bigger one! The question on everyone’s lips, is if Braun Strowman, can be the man to beat the Beast Incarnate. It will be a test of strength and see who is the bigger man. This has been the hardest one to decide, but I feel that Brock Lesnar is going to come out of this one on top. It is never easy to conquer the Beast Incarnate, I am not sure that Braun will at No Mercy, but if anyone can, Braun Strowman can. We have not seen the end of this feud, and should Lesnar win, this will not be the end of the rise of Strowman. Prediction: Brock Lesnar retains. My predictions have been made ahead of the 2017 WWE No Mercy pay per view and when they walk into the Staples Center in LA it is going to be great. A huge card on a smaller show, should make for a great event. I will be reviewing the results of this one once the event has happened.
