The King, RJ Singh! Exclusive Q&A

I had the pleasure of being able to do a Q&A, with the brilliant RJ Singh, a wrestler that has been brilliant for years now, and will continue to impress for years to come. RJ Singh, who appeared on TNA British Bootcamp, and was a brilliant competitor during the show, has wrestled in every part of England, and we find out in this exclusive Q&A, who and where is the best! A gentleman out of the ring and a brilliant performer inside of the ring, RJ Singh has enjoyed a 15 year long career, having started out in 2001. The 36 year old, has been brilliant so far in 2017, most recently fighting the Scottish sensation, Grado at NGW at the end of September in Hull.

RJ has also had brilliant matches with Sha Samuels, Spike Trivet, Jimmy Havoc, Tatanka and many more. He was formerly one half of the Bhangra Knights, and has so many more matches yet to come. Make sure to follow us and RJ on twitter to see him up coming matches.

The British/Indo-Caribbean wrestler has a range of attacks, making him a difficult opponent to get a hold on. I would love for RJ Singh to go around the world to show what he can do, the man is exceptional at what he does. If you get the chance to watch RJ Singh wrestle and tell his story in the ring, then please do not miss it, he is a talented performer and a wrestler with a personality that instantly gets you invested in him.

Question 1 - Who was your biggest inspiration to become a wrestler? I grew up watching in the 80s so it was the larger than life superhero styles like Hulk Hogan, Sting and The Ultimate Warrior that inspired me as a child. Question 2 - Who's the best wrestler you have worked with and why? Too many to mention without leaving anyone out, but I always enjoyed my matches with Stixx, El Ligero and Rockstar Spud. Question 3 - What would be a normal day/week in the day of RJ Singh? I work as a Deputy Head teacher during the week so I’m pretty busy with education! Question 4 - You have wrestled in almost every venue in England! But where has been the best place to do what you do best? York Hall in Bethnal Green holds a special place in my heart from seeing FWA, to being part of TNA British Bootcamp! Question 5 - You have had an amazing career so far, have done a lot of excellent things, but what is the dream? To have wrestled full time all over the world. But at my age it probably won’t happen now. Question 6 - What's been the hardest part of your career so far? Saying goodbye back in 2014 was pretty heartbreaking but getting back in during 2016 was very tough at first. Question 7 - What is the proud moment for you so far? Working with a lot of new wrestlers and seeing them thrive in British Wrestling.
