Exclusive Q&A with James Best
I have had the honour to speak to James Best, a very talented up and coming high flyer. James Best is in one of the best wrestling school about right now. Best wrestles in London in the Progress Wrestling School. James Best is set to go very far in the wrestling business, it is just a matter of time before you start to see the future superstar challenging for championships and headlining shows, he is that good. As well as being a skillful wrestler, James is also a gentleman outside of the ring, and has a brilliant and ever growing fan base. James Best is only going to get better, and having already been involved with people such as Roy Johnson and Connor Mills is a brilliant start for him. Apollo Championship Wrestling is brilliant with what they have been doing with their young talent. ACW will continue to push the top young talents to be the best and they keep putting on brilliant performances. Question 1 - Who was your biggest inspiration to become a wrestler? My biggest inspiration to become a wrestler was a mix of both Randy Orton and The hardy boys as I just found myself emotionally invested with them. Question 2 - Who is the best wrestler that you have worked with and why? I would say Roy Johnson and Connor Mills. Roy because he was such a great guy in helping me with my first match which involved him. Connor because he tends to bring out the best in people. Question 3 - What advice would you give somebody that wants to break into the business? The best advice I could give is to train as much as possible and to learn from different places to get knowledge from a variety of people.
Question 4 - What would be a normal week in the life of James Best? A normal week for me is to travel to my sixth form from Monday to Friday and fit in going to the gym as well as going training. Question 5 - The start of what’s going to be a great career I am sure, but what is the dream? My dream for my career is to get to either WWE or NJPW as I love WWE but also appreciate the strong style of Japan. Question 6 - What’s been the hardest part of your career so far? The hardest part of my career so far is trying to balance what I love to do which is wrestling along with what I have to do which is my education. Question 7 - What is the proudest moment of your career so far? My proudest moment of my career so far is getting a standing ovation after my match with Connor Mills at Apollo Championship wrestling.
