Grant Holt has signed for King's Lynn Town FC

Grant Holt has signed for King's Lynn Town, the club with one of the nicest grounds in the football league. A brilliant signing for the club, one that makes a major statement going forward.

King's Lynn Town have picked up a major signing as they have signed Norwich City striker, Grant Holt. Holt has been brilliant for Norwich City scoring 68 goals in 154 games. He most recently played for Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League, Rochdale and for Wigan since his Norwich City exit. King's Lynn manager, Ian Culverhouse will be delighted with the signing, and will welcome the 36 year old into his team. A major name for King's Lynn Town, a brilliant name to have on any team sheet. Also delighted will be the chairman Stephen Cleeve who can welcome the big centre forward to the Walks.

Grant Holt has a similar size and style to former Lynn legend, Jack Defty, the work house upfront, and wingers will be excited to start crossing balls into the big man. King's Lynn will hope that this is the boost, that will take them to the top of the Southern Premier League. Ian Culverhouse will have worked with Grant Holt before will at Norwich City.

The Linnets are currently in 4th place, sitting just 5 points behind leaders Kettering Town. They have made a brilliant start, and Grant Holt will be a major statement going forward, and may be the man to fire King's Lynn to top spot and lead the promotion push. Best of luck to Grant Holt, and to King's Lynn Town.
