Build up to the Southside Wrestling 7th anniversary show: it's going to be phenomenal

This weekend at the Gordon Craig Theatre, in Stevenage, Southside Wrestling, will be taking over and blowing the roof off the place, as they host the SWE 7th Anniversary show, Masked Mania. This is a stacked card, and without question, if one of the best, if not the best match card going to an event, across the British Independent Wrestling scene. This has all of the potential to be an amazing show, I am sure that it will deliver, as Southside Wrestling always does. The amount of talent on the card is frightening, it features Joseph Conner, Chris Tyler, HC Dyer, Sean Kustom, Abyss and the phenomenal El Ligero. Currently, the British independent wrestling scene is a hot bed of seriously talented performers, and Southside Wrestling defines that. The 5 on 5 elimination match, the 7 man International match, the Women's four way match and the seriously exciting upcoming singles matches are just proof this Southside Wrestling and British Wrestlers, are seriously talented. Please make sure you get down to the Gordon Craig theatre for what is going to be a phenomenal event for an amazing brand, Southside Wrestling. It has been seven great years for the company, that will be celebrated this weekend, and I want to wish the company all the best of luck for the next seven and many more after that. I hope to be attending this event this Saturday, it is going to be phenomenal, I thoroughly enjoyed writing about the unlimited amount of talent on this show. Full Metal Mayhem •Abyss vs. Robbie X 

This match will be the part of the evening, when things are going to be their most extreme! The brilliant Abyss is coming to Southside Wrestling, and he will be fighting Robbie X. Although Abyss will be a long way from home, as he comes from America, he will feel right at home in a Full Metal Mayhem match. Abyss is going to be in his element when the weapons are out for use, and we may even see Abyss', Janice Weapon! When Abyss was in TNA, he had his own well known weapon, that was devastating for his opponent, or himself should it get turned around! The weapon is called Janice, and it is a plank of wood, and if that isn't enough to cause pain, it has multiple nails pointing out of it, a dangerous weapon for a dangerous and deranged wrestler. This is a major opportunity for Robbie X going into this one. The young high flyer is going to use his kicks and flips to stay away from Abyss and his weapons as much as possible. Robbie X has the heart of a lion, and he will need all of that heart going into this unthinkable match against the frightening Abyss. •Flash Morgan Webster vs. Speedball Mike Bailey 

This match is between two of the best in Britain in what they do on the independent wrestling scene. A match that is going to be wrestled at a frightening pace, and the unique and excellent Mike Bailey will use all of his kicks and strikes against Flash Morgan Webster. Flash Morgan is one of the quickest rising wrestlers on the British independent wrestling scene, and after a huge here, he is going to be set for a huge 2018 too. Flash Morgan Webster will want to win this match to stake a massive claim going forward in this amazing brand, Southside Wrestling. •Stevie Boy vs. Chris Tyler 

He is back! It is time to see Chris Tyler back inside a Southside Wrestling ring, and I could be happier that he is. Chris Tyler is extremely talented and he is amazing at what he does. He will continue to get better and better each night that he wrestles. Chris Tyler has been injured for a while now, and will be ready to get back inside a Southside Wrestling ring and do what he does best. This weekend, he is up against, Stevie Boy. Stevie Boy is going to look to inflict as much pain on Chris Tyler as he can and look to slow his pace down and will use his intelligence to counter on Tyler's injury, but he will be serious competition. This is going to be a brilliant match, the intelligent Stevie Boy against the talented Chris Tyler in a huge clash, at SWE's anniversary show. •5 on 5 elimination match - Team Hop vs. Team GHB 

This match is going to be off the chain! 10 of the finest talents in Southside Wrestling are going to be competing for their team. They are either on Team Hop or Team GHB. Both sides have a serious amount of talent, including, the brilliant Adam Maxted, Damian Dunne, the Power house Blake and Gabriel Kidd. You cannot call this one at all at this point, and on Saturday night, you will not want to blink, in case you miss something! •Team Hop Gabriel Kidd - The young, but extremely talented Gabriel Kidd, is going to be massive for his Team Hop on Saturday night. Gabriel Kidd process serious talent and has had an amazing year this year, and will hope to continue it, by being the last surviving member of his team. Visage - Visage has another member of this team that he knows very well, as they tag together all of the time. Visage and Johnny Concrete will want to use the chemistry that they have already inside the ring, to spread through to the rest of Top Hop, and to hope to come away from this one as winners. Johnny Concrete - As mentioned before, Johnny Concrete is the current tag team partner of Visage, and they have a chemistry that they will hope will give them an advantage, and their team an advantage in this match. Both Johnny Concrete and Visage are very talented, and they could be the secret to a victory for Team Hop. Juken - The Nottingham based wrestler, Juken is going to want to bring the pain to Team GHB this weekend, he is going to be putting it all on the line for his team, and they will want to claim the bragging rights in this one. Lucas Archer - This weekend at Southside Wrestling, Team Hop will have the pleasure of having WCPW’s Lucas Archer in their team, somebody who is going to be a serious contender to go all of the way. He is a brilliant performer that will motivate and drive his team towards success. Team Hop is going to be an excellent team on Southside Wrestling’s amazing upcoming anniversary event. •Team GHB Blake - For Team GHB, they have The Powerhouse Blake, a serious good wrestler, that is hard hitting, and brings the pain to his opponents with his bone crunching moves. I had the pleasure to watch Blake wrestle a few weeks ago, and he stood out for not only his pure and natural strength and striking power, but for his athletic ability. The bone crunching Blake finished the match with a suicide dive, followed by a massive move from the top rope. Blake showed his athletic ability and the beast is going to be hungry when he walks into this huge contest at Southside Wrestling. Adam 'Flex' Maxted - When you see Adam Maxted, you see that he has, it! He has the look of a top superstar, he has the natural charisma, and he has a serious amount of talent to go with it. Adam 'Flex' Maxted is going to be a serious weapon in this one, he has been dominant lately, and was one of the superstars that featured in the 6th anniversary show for Southside Wrestling. This year, he is part of Team GHB, and the seriously talented wrestler, is going to want to pick up another win at Masked Mania! Damian Dunne - To add to the quality that Team GHB also has, Damian Dunne is going to be fighting on behalf of the team. Damian Dunne is a seriously talented wrestler, one that will take your breath away with what he is able to do in the ring. He has had an exceptional 2017, and he is only going to get better and better. Damian Dunne is going to be a massive factor in the result of the match, and is a dangerous weapon for Team GHB to have. Kip Sabian - The brilliant Kip Sabian is fighting on behalf of Team GHB also in this one, and the young Great Yarmouth fighter, who has had a great year will add a huge amount of class to the team. Kip Sabian was the comeback fight for the talented Chris Tyler earlier this month, and also picked up a brilliant win over Mike Bailey in Eastbourne, to defend his IPW championship last time out. He is a seriously talented wrestler, that will be excellent for Southside Wrestling for many years to come. Robbie X - The final member of Team GHB is Robbie X, the very talented wrestler that does have a match earlier in the evening, but he will hope to recover quickly to compete as best he can for his team. He is a serious talented young wrestler and he will want to come out of his Full Metal Mayhem match with gas left in the tank, or else this will be a very tough match for him. Luckily as mentioned before, Robbie X has the heart of a lion and he is going to need every single bit of that heart to compete in this match again. A brilliant athlete who will be ready for this one. Tag Team Championship Match •Lucha Brothers (Penta El 0M & Rey Fenix) defeated. Joseph Conners & El Ligero  

This is going to be a brilliant contest between two excellent teams. The machine Joseph Conners will be teaming up with the sensational El Ligero, a seriously talented athlete that keeps talking the whole country by storm. Joseph Conners and El Ligero are phenomenal athletes and they will be very confident going into this excellent championship match. Lucha Brothers, Penta El 0M and Rey Fenix are going to be their usual high flying, lightning quick strikes! They are talented athletes and they are going to be hungry in this match, as they want to take the tag team Championship away from Joseph Conners & El Ligero. Joseph Conners and El Ligero are two of the very best on the British Independent Wrestling scene, they have been dominant in 2017 and have been prior to that. They have been the Southside Wrestling Tag Team Champions since 5th August, when they became the champions in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire. When they get into the ring they are all business, and you can’t take your eyes off the phenomenal El Ligero, because if you blink you’ll miss something. Joseph Conners has been involved with WWE this year, and has earned the respect of wrestling legends, including William Regal and Triple H! He competed in the WWE UK Championship tournament also, defeating James Drake, and had an amazing match with Mark Andrews. Since the tournament Joseph Conners has challenged Tyler Bate for the UK Championship in two WWE shows, one during WrestleMania Axxess 2017. Conners has also competed in seven other matches and shows with the WWE, and he is an absolute machine between the ropes. The Nottingham born brawler, is quick, strong athlete, and with El LIgero by his side, they form a dangerous alliance. Queen of Southside Championship match •Lana Austin vs Kay Lee Ray vs. Saraya Knight vs. Veda Scott  

Saraya Knight is the current Queen of Southside Champion, and the experienced wrestler is going to be hoping to walk out of this match as champion still. Knight is having to defend her championship against three over women from the Southside Wrestling roster. Saraya Knight is defending against some serious talent, including Kay Lee Ray. Kay Lee Ray is one of the best women on the British Independent wrestling scene, regularly being talked out in high circles including TNA and WWE. A seriously bright future to come for Kay Lee Ray, she is going to be ready to challenge and will want to become the Queen of Southside Champion and the Glasgow based wrestler will be taking over more than just the British Independent Wrestling scene in the very near future. The Manchester fighter Lana Austin has had a brilliant 2017 so far, and with Southside Wrestling has picked up an impressive No Disqualifications Four Way match win over serious talents that including Kay Lee Ray. She has also teamed with Chris Tyler and Joseph Conners in a match this year in Southside Wrestling. The experienced Veda Scott, from America is going to be a serious contender in this one and will hope to leave Stevenage the Queen of Southside Wrestling Champion. •Evil Uno vs. Brady Phillips 

This match is going to get Evil, as Brady Phillips is going to step into the firing line of Evil Uno. The petrifying Evil Uno has been on a roll this year, destroying almost everything in his path, and this weekend, he fights Brady Phillips. Brady will need an answer to the evil streak that Evil Uno has. Brady Phillips is a very good up and coming fighter, who has the look of a top talent, and all the promise of a main eventer, it is just a matter of time before he becomes one. Phillips had a brilliant match with Mark Andrews prior this upcoming event and will take an amazing amount of confidence into this match, he is going to be serious talent and main eventer in the future. Brady Phillips is going to look for a major scalp this weekend, on the anniversary show, as he looks to withstand the evil nature of Evil Uno, and go all of the way and pick up the win. This is going to be a great match on what is going to be an amazing show. SWE Heavyweight Title Seven Way Match •BT Gunn (c) vs. Ethan Page vs. HC Dyer vs. Mike Bird vs. Sean Kustom vs. Senza Volto vs. Tucker

This event is going to be massive for the Southside Wrestling. They have brilliant names in this match, and it is every man for themselves. This is a very exciting match for us all. Current SWE Heavyweight Champion, BT Gunn may feel a little hard done by, having to defend his championship against six other men, but for us all, it will be phenomenal. I am going to go through each of the competitors in this match, and it would be great for you all to join in the conversation, and send me your prediction for this match. It is set to be a thrilling match with endless possibilities, a very exciting spectacle. This match has an international feel to it too, as it features seven wrestlers from seven different counties, in this international seven way match. BT Gunn - Scotland - The Scottish brawler has had a brilliant 2017 so far and is the SWE Heavyweight Champion. BT Gunn won his championship back in May 2017, when he won a phenomenal no disqualification match against el ligero, an amazing match, and what would have been a very proud moment for BT Gunn. He will be defending against six other men on the 7 year anniversary show. The Scotsman has been the champion for 168 days, an impressive record, one that he will want to continue after this massive match. Ethan Page - Canada - Ethan Page is a seriously talented performer and a great athlete coming to this match all the way from Canada. Page is a big strong performer, and will be looking to win gold over this side of the pond. Page is a serious contender and one to watch in this eight man match that is set to be epic. HC Dyer - England - The Peterborough born brawler, HC Dyer is going to be a serious contender for this, and he is the home country athlete. I have been a huge fan of HC Dyer for many years, having been born in the same place! He has had a brilliant year in 2017, having been involved with the WWE when they came to the United Kingdom! HC Dyer is a strong quick athlete and is a serious contender talk walk out of this Southside Wrestling event coming up! HC Dyer is going to be a massive talent and will be one of the men, taking over, the British Independent Wrestling scene, he is very talented. Mike Bird - Wales - The flying Mike Bird, is has been brilliant this year and will want to continue to dominate when he goes into this massive match at Southside Wrestling. The Welsh Wizard Mike Bird is going to fly into this one and hope to come out the champion of Southside Wrestling. Sean Kustom - Australia - Travelling the furthest for this match is the brilliant Sean Kustom as he is coming over from Australia, and will hope to scissors kick and fly his way to glory in Southside Wrestling. This will be a massive match for the talented wrestler. This is not his first show for Southside Wrestling, as he competed in a fatal four way last year, a brilliant match won by Damian Dunne, but an exceptional performance, he will hope to go the whole way in this one. Senza Volto - France - This mysterious and more unknown Senza Volto is an absolute wild card in this one. He is a serious talented high flying performer who has wrestled the whole way round Europe. The masked European Luchador is going to be bolt of electric in this match and will bring to the pace and the smart kicks to this match. Volto has a brilliant move set, one that I can’t wait to watch do his thing, he is an underdog, but Senza Volto is the wild card in this match. Tucker - Northern Ireland - The Belfast brawler has had a brilliant year so far, he has been spoken about in high circles, and has been involved with the WWE. Tucker is a brilliant fighter and is going to mount a serious challenge to come out as the SWE Heavyweight Champion. Tucker is deadly in the ring and can strike at any point.
