A massive congratulations to Ben Auld, the owner of Southside Wrestling made it all possible and his hospitality, the venue, the service and the show, could not have been better. •1, (Speed King Championship) - Stevie Boy defeated. Chris Tyler

What a way to start an awesome show, and the surprises came from before the first bell even rang. As the returning one and only, Chris Tyler was about the begin his match with Stevie Boy, it was announced, that Stevie Boy is the current number 1 contender for the Speed King Championship, and he says before Chris Tyler was injured, he was the number 1 contender...and the championship is vacant! It is announced that this is going to be a championship match, for the Speed King Championship. This match was awesome, and it could have gone either way. It was an intense match, Chris Tyler was brilliant, hitting Stevie Boy with awesome kicks and clever moves, he was exceptional and they both got the show off to a bang. Both men left everything in the ring, and this was the perfect way to kick off an amazing show, it really set the tone perfectly. It was Stevie Boy, who became the Speed King Champion at the end of this match, a brilliant performance from him, as he had to find an answer, to the kicks and moves thrown at him by the talented Tyler. The Scottish brawler is part of the Filthy Kliq, that can now add the Southside Speed King Championship to their list of gold. Chris Tyler looked like he hadn’t been out of the ring injured at all, no signs of ring rust, and it is great to see him back doing what he does best. The two put on an incredible show, and I can’t wait to see what is next for the two men! •2, Brady Phillips defeated. Evil Uno

A massive win at Southside Wrestling’s 7th anniversary show, as Britain’s best kept secret, Brady Phillips picked up an important and impressive win over the twisted, Evil Uno. Evil Uno had a lot of momentum in this one, Brady Phillips often was too nice to the twisted, evil wrestler that made him pay for it every time. But Phillips came back fighting, and stronger than ever beating the count in excellent fashion. Baady Phillips kept fighting and fighting and eventually managed to put the demonic Evil Uno away, and pick an awesome victory that was so important for the excellent young Northamptonshire born wrestler, and Britain’s best kept secret, Brady Phillips! He will take this win, over the brilliant Evil Uno, and use the momentum to progress further in Southside Wrestling. •3, (Full Metal Mayhem) - Robbie X defeated. Abyss

Oh it was extreme! At the start of the match, Robbie X wanted nothing to do with the monster Abyss, and he kept rolling out the ring, instead of standing toe to toe with the 6 foot 6 inch, over 350 plus pound monster. Robbie X brought it weapons with him, a rubbish bin, kendo sticks, multiple steel chairs and they were all in play. When Robbie X did face up to Abyss, he kept striking him to no avail, he couldn’t bring down the big man. The match got more extreme as it went on, with Abyss taking weapons from the brilliant Southside fans, as he took a miniature guitar off a member of the crowd and smashed it over Robbie X. Clever moves from Robbie X, such as turning round a chair when Abyss went to drive on him, creating separation, but then there was a massive turning point! Robbie X’s, GBH team mates came running down to the ring, and they attacked Abyss, using the numbers game to their advantage, while Adam ‘Flex’ Maxted distracted the referee at ringside. After the beat down, Robbie X pinned the angry monster and can owe the assist to his team mates of GBH, but a win nonetheless. It was fantastic seeing the monster Abyss, he is massive in stature, and a brilliant wrestler, watching him use his size to his advantage. When Robbie X jumped off the top rope, Abyss simply took a step to the side and watched him hit the ring, as Abyss used off of his experience throughout against the excellent Robbie X. •4, Flash Morgan Webster defeated. Speedball Mike Bailey

What a match and what a show this contest was. Two exceptionally talented wrestlers going at it. The build up between the two, after Speedball Mike Bailey bowed to Flash Morgan Webster, he wasn’t having any of it, and put his helmet on, and then they bowed with the Webset wearing his helmet and then Mike Bailey went to kick him and kicked his helmet, hurting his foot. This got an epic match off to a great start. The two just kept going at it, with awesome moves from both men, Speedball Mike Bailey his thunderous kicks to Flash Morgan Webster. The most impressive move of the whole evening must go to Mike Bailey, as he put together a ‘Kick Flurry’ string of kicks, one after another with alternate legs, over and over, it had the whole of the loyal Southside fans having to pick their jaws up off the floor, in shock! This match was full throttle the whole way, and the master of kicks, Speedball Mike Bailey was looking to put Flash Morgan Webster away, but he couldn’t do it, and the exceptional Flash Morgan Webster picked up the win. The two men are exceptional at what they do and they put an an awesome show for every in attendance and I would of happily watched the two wrestle all day long, it was magic in the ring. •Massive announcement

After the interval, Rockstar Media had a video to show us all, and it was an unbelievable announcement! The announcement was that the legendary Gail Kim, is going to be at Southside Wrestling, in her last ever UK tour, and that the Canadian star has chosen her last match in the United Kingdom to be inside a Southside Wrestling ring at SWE Ill Manors 2017 in Sheffield next month! The crowd went wild at this, it was insane! •5, (5 on 5 Elimination Chamber) - Team ‘HOP’ House of Pain vs. GBH Team HOP - Visage, Johnny Concrete, Lance Archer, Juken, Gabriel Kidd. GBH - Blake, Adam Flex Maxted, Damian Dunne, Kip Sabian, Robbie X It had been a busy night already for GHB, and they were in for a tough 5 on 5 elimination match. This match was intense and was chaos from the start and throughout. A massive moment for Gabriel Kidd who deserved his Southside momentum on Saturday night, as he went through GBH. You could not take your eyes off this brilliant match as the ten men were fantastic. The men in this match were brilliant and battled hard throughout. Visage was brilliant throughout the match for Team House of Pain, his talent is clear and he was excellent throughout for his team, as well his team, Lance Archer, Johnny Concrete, Juke and Gabriel Kidd. Visage was brilliant and looked to be going the whole way, but couldn’t do that final hurdle. For GBH, the bone crunching Blake, showed how much of a Powerhouse he is, planting the whole of Team HOP into the middle of the ring. Blake was eliminated, but his team continued to fight. Adam ‘Flex’ Maxted was brilliant, but then he was eliminated due to disqualification, after he pushed the referee out of the way, and he threw him out of the contest. When Gabriel Kidd was the last man standing for Team HOP, he was looking across to three members of GBH, and the odds were stacked against him. Gabriel Kidd was fearless, but looked as if his fairytale ending was going to come crashing down, but the brilliant Damian Dunne had set Gabriel Kidd up on the ropes for Kip Sabian, but after Kidd wriggled out, the moved missed the target and Kidd picked up a roll up pin on Damian Dunne and then another on Kip Sabian, levelling the playing field, making it a one on one between Gabriel Kidd (Team HOP) and Robbie X (GBH) to finish this contest. Robbie X was in the ring on his own shocked at the quick fire pinfalls, and then it was time for the monster Abyss to come out and finish this one and as he attacked Robbie X after the antics earlier on that night. The referee was distracted by Kip Sabian and Damian Dunne attack Gabriel Kidd at ringside and Abyss provided the assist to Team HOP and a massive moment for the brilliant Gabriel Kidd. •6, (Queen of Southside) - Lana Austin defeated. Saraya Knight (C) vs. Veda Scott vs. Kay Lee Ray This was an awesome match as the four women, that are the best of the best around on the independent circuit went at it, and the action wasn't kept between the ropes. All four took the action all over the Gordon Craig Theatre. The fearsome former Queen of Southside Saraya Knight, a woman who is British wrestling royalty and has been there and done it all, beat the talented Kay Lee Ray, one of the best of the best in all four corners of the large packed out venue. The two climbed up the stairs to the highest tier of the venue to battle it out to be Queen of Southside. The nights of Saraya Knight and Kay Lee Ray did end early though, when Saraya Knight dragged the Scottish talent through a curtain of the Gordon Craig Theatre and the two were not seen again for the rest of the show. The other two in this equation was the brilliant Lana Austin of Manchester, and battled international talent Veda Scott, and they used everything in their power at ringside, as Veda Scott imposed her power on Lana Austin! They took turns to put each other in the fans seats and to leave welts on each other with vicious strikes. The continued to fight around the arena, and then the talented Lana Austin did what she promised everybody that she would do at the start of the year, and became the new Queen of Southside. An accomplishment that the Manchester fighter will be very proud of achieving what she set out to achieve this year. An awesome match and Lana Austin is the deserving winner. •7, (Southside Wrestling Championship) - Ethan Page defeated. HC Dyer vs. Tucker vs. BT Gunn (C) vs. Sean Kustom vs. Mike Bird vs. Senza Volto This match was intense, and crazy match, with seven different wrestlers, from seven different nations for the 7th anniversary show. The match was unbelievable, as the seven men give it their everything and let nothing in the locker room. The seven in this match were phenomenal and it was brilliant, Ethan Page battled hard, he and Sean Kustom pulled off the move of the match as Ethan Page stood on the ropes and picked Sean Kustom over his head, and threw him into the middle of the ring onto other competitors. What an unbelievable match, the seven excellent wrestlers! One of the stars of this match has to be the high flying sensational Senza Volto, coming over from France, the European phenomenal wrestler was incredible and his high flying ability knew no bounds. Of course, Tucker and HC Dyer for the time they were out there was excellent as they always are, and could have picked up the win at any point before HC Dyer was taken away. The night ended early for the brilliant HC Dyer, as the Powerhouse. Blake came running out and beat HC Dyer up and dragged him back through the curtain backstage, sealing the end of the night for the English wrestler HC Dyer! The match looked to be all done and sealed after the former champion BT Gunn’s Filthy Kliq friend Stevie Boy came out with steel chairs, but quick thinking lead to the two Scottish wrestlers hitting each other with the chairs. All that was left to do, was the opportunist All Ego Ethan Page, a Canadian brawler that came back into the ring and picked up the win and became the Southside Heavyweight Champion, coming to the other side of the world to become the champion. •8, (Southside Tag Team Championship) - Joseph Conners & El Ligero (C) defeated. Penta El 0M & Rey Fenix Wow. What an incredible match this was. They blew the roof off the building as it featured four of the worlds best on the independent circuit. There was incredible moves throughout and excellent spots. Penta El Zero M is incredible and he was hard hitting, high flying and possess incredible kicks! His brother Rey Fenix is also gravity defying as the Lucha Brothers proved why they are two for worlds best. They were up against two more of the best, as Joseph Conners and the phenomenal El Ligero was outstanding. El Ligero performed an amazing suicide dive off the stage into the crowd seating area where the Lucha Brothers were! Joseph Conners and El Ligero came out to we are the champions, and they proved why they are just that. They were phenomenal and this was the best way to finish an incredible show. This will be one of the best matches of 2017, the true athletes are unstoppable on the top of the world. A great part of this one, was the end when the winners put their hands out for a handshake and the four men showed a great amount of respect for each other! This match was amazing and was a must see match, please make sure you check these four incredible athletes out! These four wrestlers and everybody that wrestled at Southside Wrestling are an amazing representation of what an incredible brand.
