Glasgow Rovers will be delighted with scoring four, and can take a lot of positives into the next round with them, they came up against a very good Budhill United side. I managed to catch up with David Ramsay, of Glasgow Rovers, and he said, “We quickly assembled a squad of 12 after a few call offs and it showed after 30 mins we were 3-1 down after a horror show from our keeper who threw down his gloves and walked off the park. Our only sub had to go in goals leaving us with a mountain to climb. The boys battled back superbly to 4 a piece and we looked as if we were going to go on and take the 3 points. Stupidly we get a man sent off and it was curtains from there as Budhill took advantage of the extra man. Disappointed to lose the 3 points but the boys gave me 110% and that's all I can ask for just now” >Rutherglen Rovers 3-6 Brunswick A tough day for the home club Rutherglen Rovers, who were involved in an excellent nine goal thriller with Brunswick this Sunday. Dissapointed and frustrated with the final result” I also managed to speak to the brilliant Weir Recreation manager, Scott MacGregor, and he said, “A very well earned, hard fought result today.
