Interview with the talented Taylor Essex
I managed to speak to the brilliant Taylor Essex. A wrestler that has been brilliant fighting all round the UK, winning matches, and putting on brilliant shows. He competed in a brilliant fatal four way this weekend, another outstanding performance from an awesome performer. I will not rattle on for too long, and here is the Q&A with the brilliant, TAYLOR ESSEX.
1. Who was your biggest inspiration to become a wrestler? I never had one guy that made me want to start wrestling i just loved it and wanted to do it. but as soon as i started watching guys like AJ styles,will Ospreay and Kazuchika Okada i just feel in love with how they work. 2. Who’s the best wrestler you have worked with? I have worked with a lot of guys that are defiantly going to make it one day but i would have to say the best person i have ever worked with would have to be currant ICW star Ietyn rees from the way he was back stage to out in the ring the guy is a pro 3. What is the dream for Taylor Essex? The dream for taylor essex is to go as far as i can in this business and to be able to wrestle as much as possible as i love this business and want to be apart of it for as long as i can
4. What would be a normal day/week in the life of Taylor Essex? The week for me can be mad some times on Monday i will try and get down to the London school of lucha libre in bethnal green. Tuesday again if i dont go Monday i will go Tuesday to the LSOLL Wednesday i help out at dropkixx wrestling school in essex (this is where i started ) thursday is a chill day Friday is when the crazy weekend of shows start so if im not booked i will go down to wrestle force training Saturday and Sunday are show days if im not working a show on sunday im down training at dropkixx 5. What’s been the hardest part of your career so far? The hardest part of my career was about 4 months in i broke my ankle and its was horrible not being able to wrestle but then it was in that time i relied i wanted this more then a hobby and made me want to try harder and make it in the business 6. Whats the proudest moment in your career so far? The proudest moment in my career was winning the RFPW title agents ietyn rees andwhen i won the dropkixx British title
7. If you were stuck on a desert Island with three people, who would it be? If I were stuck on a desert Island and was with 3 people they would be maverick mayhew harrison bourne and jack toreno 8. What is the perfect day in the life of Taylor Essex? The perfect day for me is to get up spend some time with my girl friend and her son chill out then drive up to a show have a laugh with the boys before and then go out and kill it in the ring the all go out after and have a good time 9. What series are you currently watching on Netflix? I am watching stranger things atm 10. How do you want to be remembered when you finish your wrestling career? When im done i want my child to be able to look back at what there dad done and be proud other then that as long as i entertained people and other wrestlers enjoyed working with me i would have done what i set out to 11. What is your most embarrassing moment, both inside, and/or outside the ring? Outside the ring i am constantly embarrassing my self so i cant think of the most but inside the ring would have to be the time i was tying a move in a new ring for the first time but the ropes in this ring was a lot higher this other rings and i didn't jump enough for a springboard and only got one foot up and ended up on my face safe to say i aways make sure i can do it before the show 12. If you could have personally witnessed anything or been at any event, what would you have wanted to have seen? The TLC 2 match at wrestlemania 13. If sometime was to come to training for the first time, what words of advice would you give to them? I would tell them to take in as much as you can never stop learning
14. Who would you dream match be against, either past or present? Also, who would you want to be your tag team partner? My dream match to be honest i go on and on but im going to say will Ospreay and tag partner would be Maverick Mayhew.
